2018 Winter Training

We have a few winter training options for our players this year.

Please take a moment to check them out to see what's right for you.

All programs will take place at COMPETE INDOOR SPORTS in Norwood, MA.

This program is designed for new and intro level players who want to dig in and tackle lacrosse basics in a FUN and non-competitive setting. In this series, we will focus on the fundamentals of stick handling, throwing, catching, ground ball pick ups and moving in space with the ball. We will also work on footwork and good body positioning. Our goals in this course are to set a strong foundation of proper lacrosse skills and to build player confidence. Perfect for players who would like to gain that extra boost of lacrosse know-how before the 2018 Spring season begins.

Open to all players with 3 or FEWER years of experience in grades 1-8. (Players will be divided by age)

Classes run for 1.25 hours on WEDNESDAYS from 3:45pm - 5:00pm

1/31, 2/7, 2/14, 2/28, 3/7, 3/14 (No class February vacation week)

Cost: $140.00

30 Spots available

This class was designed with our more experienced players in mind, and we are strongly suggesting it to our Pioneer Select team players. Stickwork, accuracy, consistency, speed and power are all part of the program. In this clinic, players will work with professional lacrosse player and coach Martin Bowes and his strength and conditioning team to take their skills to the next level. This clinic will involve advanced stick and ball handling skills and shooting technique.  Players will also work with the strength and conditioning coaches to improve balance, develop proper running technique and build foot speed.  Most importantly, the girls will learn to train and move in this sport with injury prevention in mind. This clinic is not on the turf and will not involve full field drills. This is an awesome opportunity for players to hone in on their own individual skills and while training and conditioning alongside teammates and friends.

Open to players with 3 or MORE years of experience in grades 6-8.

(Please contact us directly if you do not meet the experience requirements but would like to participate.)
